Emerging sports drink Reboot has joined the 2026 International Masters Cricket (IMC) Over-40s World Cup as a Gold Sponsor, pledging 1,000 cases of the beverage and financial support for the tournament.
The partnership was announced on Wednesday at the Ruimveldt Industrial Site headquarters of Permaul Trading and Distribution, the exclusive distributor of Reboot in Guyana.
Cricket West Indies Masters Association (CWIMA) Chairman Raj Singh was on hand to receive the sponsorship package.
Singh explained that the partnership had been under discussion for some time before CWIMA and Permaul Trading and Distribution finalised an attractive sponsorship package.
He said the company’s contribution would assist CWIMA considerably as preparations continue for the international tournament.
Permaul Trading and Distribution has been a consistent supporter of masters cricket in Guyana, and the Gold Sponsorship represents an increase in the company’s commitment to the sport.

Managing Director Subramani Mangali expressed his company’s satisfaction at being associated with the tournament and pledged continued support for masters cricket.
His commitment came as Singh indicated that Guyana could host additional Masters World Cups in the future.
Manufactured in Trinidad and Tobago by Brava International Limited, Reboot is an isotonic sports drink containing electrolytes.
The beverage caters for athletes and active consumers to support hydration and recovery following physical activity.
The second edition of the IMC Over-40s World Cup will feature 16 teams competing in 72 matches from October 17 to November 1. The grand finale is scheduled for the National Stadium at Providence, East Bank Demerara.
Matches will be played at 10 venues across Guyana. Confirmed locations include the historic Georgetown Cricket Club, the Anna Regina Stadium in Essequibo, the Joe Jagmohan Ground (Essequibo) and the Albion Community Centre Ground in Berbice. The remaining venues are being finalised.
South Africa will enter the competition as defending champions, while the West Indies Over-40s team will be captained by former West Indies skipper Denesh Ramdin.
Former West Indies captain Ramnaresh Sarwan and Guyanese brothers Hemnarine and Sewnarine Chattergoon are also named in the home squad.
Admission will be free at all venues. Spectators seeking an upgraded viewing experience may purchase booths for matches being played at the National Stadium.
