The Ministry of Education will provide Grade Six pupils with quizzes every two weeks in the four core subject areas, according to a memorandum sent to primary schools yesterday.

The quizzes, prepared through the National Centre for Educational Resource Development and the primary education sector, will be distributed electronically to schools and made available on the ministry’s [NGSA quiz portal](https://go.education.gov.gy/ngsaquiz).

Chief Education Officer Saddam Hussain said the quizzes will be aligned with the National Learning Outcomes. Grade Six teachers are required to ensure that pupils complete each quiz within seven days of its issue. Teachers must then mark the work and give feedback to pupils and their parents or guardians.
