(Kaieteur News) – The Cricket West Indies Masters Association (CWIMA) welcomes 519 Guyana (519G) as an Official Bronze Sponsor of the IMC Over-40s Cricket World Cup Guyana 2026, adding the restaurant and bar’s support to Guyana’s preparations for the international masters tournament.
Located at the AC Marriott in Ogle, East Coast Demerara, the Pan-Caribbean restaurant and bar joins the businesses helping CWIMA welcome visiting teams and supporters. Its participation connects the tournament with Guyana’s hospitality sector and the food and social experiences that form part of a visit to the country.
519 Guyana is now an Official Bronze Sponsor of the IMC Over-40s Cricket World Cup Guyana 2026.
The World Cup will bring together 16 teams for 72 matches, with play scheduled from October 17 to 31, 2026. The West Indies will compete on home soil as experienced cricketers from around the world gather to represent their teams and pursue a World Cup title.
For Guyana, the tournament provides an opportunity to welcome players, support staff and supporters who will spend time in the country between matches. CWIMA sees the involvement of local businesses such as 519G as an important part of creating a welcoming experience for those visitors.
Rajendra “Raj” Singh, Tournament Director & Chairman of CWIMA remarked: “We are pleased to welcome 519 Guyana as a Bronze Sponsor and thank its management and staff for supporting this World Cup. Hosting 16 teams takes a considerable collective effort, and local businesses’ backing helps us deliver the tournament and welcome our visitors properly. We want players and supporters to leave with good memories of the cricket and of the people they meet in Guyana. It is encouraging to see 519G take its place among the businesses supporting that effort.”
CWIMA encourages cricket supporters and visiting teams to learn more about 519G and the businesses backing the World Cup. Their support helps deliver an event that celebrates the continued ambition of masters cricketers and gives home supporters the chance to cheer on the West Indies.
